How to Reach Egypt

By Air
Egypt has three major international airports at Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor. Smaller international airports are located in other cities of tourist interest, like Hurghada and the Sharm el Shaykh. These cities are connected to most of the African, Asian, American and European cities through regular flights.
Flying to Egypt is an attractive option for sightseers. As the plane descends on the runway, you can have a bird's eye view of major Egypt tourist attractions like the Great Pyramids, the Nile and the Sphinx.
The Alexandria Airport is connected to the rest of the world by the national carrier, Egyptair, and a private operator. Hughada and Sharm el Shayk Airports host flights from Germany and France and some other European countries.
By Sea
Luxury cruises on the Mediterranean Sea and Suez Canal are an option you can explore if you have the time. Alexandria and Port Said have excellent docking facilities for cruise liners.
By Road
You can enter Egypt through Sudan by taking a ferry from Wadi Halfa in Sudan to Aswan in Egypt, cruising along the Lake Nasser. You can also enter Egypt through Israel on public buses running between the two countries.
